Buffets, receptions, christenings and funerals

We cater for many large events at the Swan in either our beautiful large dining room which overlooks the gardens or our smaller restaurant/bar which is more cosy with a log fire in the winter months.  Whatever the occasion, our graceful and charming Thai and Japanese staff will take good care of you with nothing being too much trouble. 

Whatever your requirements, we are here to discuss them with you and make up a menu especially for you.

For Wedding Receptions, our Executive Chef, Gary, has his own catering team who can work independently from the Swan either in a marquee in the grounds or in our stunning dining room.  You can view Gary’s website at

We can tailor a menu to suit you but offer the following as examples of what we can offer:

Swan Finger Buffet
Consisting of a selection of sandwiches,  prawn crackers,  sausage rolls, quiche/pizza, vegetable spring rolls with sweet chilli dipping sauce and a selection of cake and biscuits.

Swan Extra Buffet
Buffet consisting of a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, quiche and/or pizza,Thai prawn crackers, hot vegetable spring rolls, thai pork cakes, chicken satay and a selection of cake.

Swan Special Fork Buffet in the Thai Restaurant
Buffet consisting of cold meats, cold salmon fillets, various salads, sausage rolls, prawn crackers, vegetables spring rolls, chicken satays and Thai green chicken curry and rice.

Thai Buffet
A  glass of bubbly or Bucks Fizz to greet you followed by a buffet featuring a selection of 6 Thai starters, 10 main dishes, rice and noodles, Thai soup, salad bar and a selection of desserts.

All bar drinks would be charged at our normal bar tariff and can either be added to your bill or charged directly to your guests.
